Basically, you`ll look at how cash flow, businesses, capital projects, and finances are valued, and how you make investment decisions. These can be small decisions, such as deciding which assets (stocks, bonds, and derivatives) to include in your own investment portfolio, when to buy those securities and when to sell them, or important capital decisions, such as building a factory, producing a line of commodities, buying machinery, or renting them. Depending on the courses taken, you will learn how to value a company and its shares, forecast its earnings growth, how to value foreign capital and immunize this cash flow against currency fluctuations, how to value a derivative or how to build and manage a bond portfolio.
