I bought a 3G data plan on July 4th for R299 and to my surprise on Sunday evening I lost all my data packets, I buy my data with my standard bank account or I buy online, so I used the repeated purchase method and it never gave me the option to buy a 30-day plan or a 5-day plan, What I found very strange is that Vodacom rips from its customers, why the hell you sell the package for 5 days at a bundled 30-day price. I can be happy if Vodacom returns my packages as I never bought data packages for 5 days, but I bought for 30 days as I always do. I wrote to Hi Peter yesterday and you replied that someone will call me, which did not happen, and my next step is to write to OMBUD for consumer goods and services. I can be contacted at 0827572644 for more information, I am very, very frustrated. I cancelled my data account on his birthday in February 2016 and I am still charged R109.00 per month (deducted from the debit order) and no one can tell me why. I spent three weeks calling Vodacom every day trying to solve the problem, but I`m being moved from pillar to pillar. I registered an application with a reference number and now they tell me that I am “pre-legal” even though they withdraw money from my account every month. I requested the installation of a fiber optic cable at my home. When the technicians arrived to do the installation, I was told that it was not possible because there is already an installation at this address and the infrastructure does not allow an additional line at the same residential address. The technician said he would find out if there was a way to do it and give us feedback (which has yet to happen).
My wife was contacted and an appointment was made for the technician to come to us (almost 2 weeks ago) to discuss what could be done. I am still waiting for the arrival of this technician. Hello, I have a very, very big complaint, the incident occurred at Vodashop Laikside Mall. I was the victim of an armed robbery and all my aircraft were stolen. My insurance company asked me to get bank statements showing all the devices with each number. So I came to Vodashop Laikside Mall. I came to Beauty at counter 5, when I told her what I wanted, she said it was too much work and while I was sitting at her desk she started selling phone covers to other customers who came after me. I knew customer service didn`t mean anything to her because she was afraid that if she helped me, she would lose sales. I asked her if there was anyone in the back office who would then give me my information, she said she would find out. So the second treasurer came to me from the back office, he didn`t even show up, so I started talking. I asked him what I needed from them, he said he wasn`t ready to do it as it would take 4 hours and said I had to go to Vodaworld. Vodaworld is on the other side of the world than me, if I had wanted to do it at Vodaworld I would have gone there from the beginning.
So I played with him and asked him: “Isn`t me the customer and you are the staff and you want to tell me directly to my face that you will not help me because it will take you 4 hours to get me my documentation. I spoke to kabelo about Vodacom and complained. I asked the guy twice what his name was, he looked me in the eye, turned around and went back to the office, so I asked one of the employees his name. His name is Jaydee. Luckily, when I left the store, I took a picture of the store inside. He then called me on my mobile phone and told me that the reason he refused to help me was because the store is extremely busy. Show yourself how he lies I can`t believe he`s employed by Vodacom, let alone the fact that he has to work with people. I attach the photo of the store when I was there, pls you can decide for yourself if it was busy. But nevertheless, how do you refuse to help a customer, then eknor and turn your back on them and walk away.
I want Vodacom to take action against this guy who treated me like an extreme god and I`m waiting to know what action was taken when I try to report a fraudulent address/customer.
