Wake Forest`s LL.M. program is primarily designed for international attorneys and students who have a first law degree from their home country and wish to enhance their legal career by studying the laws of the United States. The LLM is a full-time, one-year degree program that encourages students to pursue their individual interests through research and coursework. Students may extend their studies by more than one year with their consent. The two-year JD for International Lawyers is designed for international students with a first-time law degree who wish to pursue a Juris Doctorate, either to be more competitive in their home country job market or to practice law in the United States. Admitted students receive up to 30 hours of transfer credits towards their Young Women degree depending on their law studies in their home country.
Wake Forest University offers an online Master of Laws that requires 30 credits. Students can study full-time or part-time, and classes are completely asynchronous. However, students study, interact and collaborate with a virtual cohort of other students with whom you simultaneously follow the program.
