The Illinois State Police Merit Council has established the following minimum requirements for individuals applying for an Illinois State Soldier position. All requirements must be met at the time of application to be considered an acceptable applicant. As a result, ISPs were largely exempt from Title II regulation early in Internet history. In 2002, the FCC found the cable company`s ISPs to be an “intergovernmental information service” in the Cable Modem Regulations 2002. they could not be regarded as telecommunications operators and were therefore `totally exempted from the Title II regime`. The Supreme Court upheld the FCC`s interpretation in National Cable & Telecommunications Ass`n v. Brand X Internet Services (2005). In Brand X, the court upheld the FCC`s interpretation that cable broadband service providers provide a “single, integrated information service” even though they own and operate last-mile transmission facilities. In turn, the FCC has designated other ISPs (e.g., DSL and wireless) as information service providers exempt from Title II regulatory requirements. Practical performance requirements include fitness activities related to enforcement duties.

The following practical exercise performance requirements have been identified and must be satisfactorily met to meet the State Police Merit Board`s PFIT requirements. All applicants may request a waiver of the application and/or examination fee by submitting the appropriate form prescribed by the Committee. · Cadets do not have to move after completion and assignment to the district. Honorably discharged AND served in a combat mission by proving payment for enemy fire or imminent danger on active duty. Once a cadet class has been scheduled, candidates will receive an email invitation from the State Police Merit Board with the date, time and location of the Fitness Inventory Test (PFIT). 2.
