The LRC is managed by the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County, a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Your donations are essential to ensure that we can provide quality legal services. A donation of at least $10 is required. We provide free legal aid to eligible low-income individuals or families (our top priority is those with an income of 200% FPL and under), people with disabilities, people over the age of 60, and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, human trafficking, or other abuse residing in Santa Barbara County. The Santa Barbara County Legal Resource Center has a licensed attorney in California and is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Self-help is offered to complete legal and judicial paperwork for various civil cases and violations, as well as to properly present your case to the court.
